Hi Nsman,

I notice on your screenshot of the MT4 History Center that your symbols seem to have a dash after the symbol – for example, “AUDNZD-“. I believe you will need to generate the same symbol by using the “Maps To” field.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It is a bit unfortunate that Facebook is blocked. Could you please advise what message you are getting in the top-right area of your screen? A screenshot will be helpful to see what we can do about this. I would have expected that if this was blocked, you would not get this button at all.

In the mean-time, please note that the functionality that requires a ‘Like’ is not critical – you can still use MT4 Build 432 until we have a solution for you.

Please ensure you have clicked on the Facebook ‘Like’ button in the top-right of the application to activate the launcher for Build 509.

Have you checked the ‘Journal’ tab to make sure there are errors being raised and that the script is actually running? It should also tell you the output filename.

Hi damn_testing,

If you are getting an N/A as the back-testing result it means you have not correctly launched your Metatrader via the Tickstory launcher by pressing F8.
If you are having difficulties getting started, I would highly recommend watching the ‘Getting Started’ video which you can find here:

If you are having specific issues, a search of the forum with the specific error message can usually yield the result you’re after (or have a browse of the ‘Issue/bug tracking’ section of the forum.

Thanks for your feedback (and your appreciation!). Facebook is a great way for us to communicate with our users and also help spread the word about Tickstory – if it were that easy to replace, we’d be listing on the NASDAQ by now 😉 All we are offering our supporters are a few (non-critical) features ahead of time. We will gradually make these features available to all, while bearing in mind that those who have not clicked on ‘Like’ are not restricted from getting full use of the software.

When you are pressing the ‘Like’ button, please ensure you click on the ‘Keep me logged in’ button and you should not have to re-login on the next launch.

Using MT4 Build 432 will not affect the data you have downloaded.

There is nothing we like more than users showing their appreciation for the thousands of hours that have gone into developing and supporting this application. We believe that those users who have taken a moment to show their thanks deserve the little extra attention that all friends get. Note also that the launcher works fine on Build 432 (available for download on this site) if you do not wish to become a friend of Tickstory.

Also, where are you seeing the time-stamps? On the MT4 chart or the History Center?
