Hi all,

Tickstory Lite v0.9 is now available! Included in the release are the following features.

New Features
•[TICKLITE-15] Added MT4 data editor which allows changing of spread (and other settings) without having to regenerate export.
•[TICKLITE-88] Add new timezone that supports NY trading hours.
•[TICKLITE-100] Special features available for ‘Friends of Tickstory’ – a big ‘thanks’ for your support! Click the ‘Like’ button to join the club!
•[TICKLITE-101] Language support for Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.

Improvements
•[TICKLITE-95] Clarified message when users could not select an MT4 folder location.

Fixes
•[TICKLITE-92] MT4 Launcher: Issue with launcher for some users (causing FXT to be overwritten)
•[TICKLITE-96] MT4 Export: Stop-out level, GTC pending and Commission Lots now correctly uses custom/config settings.
•[TICKLITE-97] MT4 Export: Margin currency can now be custom set.
•[TICKLITE-104] MT4 Export: Fixed issue with “Unrecognised token BASECOMMISSION” error for Turkish users.

Hi PipDigga,

You can change languages via the ‘Regional Settings’ in the Windows Control Panel.

Are you able to elaborate further on the screens that have incorrect translations? Otherwise we will need to wait until someone is able to assist us to review.

Hi all,

v0.9.1 has just been released! Included in this version is the much requested support for launching Metatrader Build 500+ which is available as an early release for our friends (you can click on the Facebook ‘Like’ button if you would like to become a friend!). The MT Build 500+ launcher will be available to all users in the next release of Tickstory.

Also included in this version is our support for additional platforms including Ninjatrader, Amibroker and Neuroshell trader! Now you can easily get free quality Forex tick data and export quickly to these platforms!

Details of the release are outlined below:

•[TICKLITE-109] File export: Add new pre-defined format to export tick data to Birt’s CSV2FXT.
•[TICKLITE-110] File export: Add new pre-defined format to export tick data to Ninjatrader.
•[TICKLITE-112] File export: Add new pre-defined format to export bar data to Neuroshell Trader.
•[TICKLITE-113] File export: Add new pre-defined format to export bar & tick data to Amibroker.
•[TICKLITE-113] MT4 Launcher now supports MT4 builds 500+ (available to Friends of Tickstory).

•[TICKLITE-111] File export: Now automatically selects suitable time-frame when choosing a pre-defined format.
•[TICKLITE-13] File export: Dialog should remember last used settings.

Thanks very much, i already have it. Where can i get the MT4 Data Editor? It would be very useful for me because i’m having a problem with tickdata. The only pair that works for me it’s EURUSD. With the other ones i get this error:

It’s not a problem of money, i’m making the test with 10.000 and bying 0,01 lot and it fails as soon as it start. Maybe it’s a problem of settings when i export but i can’t remember the sets i used for EURUSD so it would be useful to have MT4 Data Editor. Or if you know any other way to solve this problem i would thank you a lot.

It’s in Tools-> MT4 Data Editor. You could access this function after having pressed the Like button.

I guess you should check your account leverage, and other broker conditions. Have you used TickStoryInfo expert to export your broker’s settings? If not, check out the help tab on Export to MT4 panel or click here!

How to become your friend?

Hi Tony,

To become a friend, start up Tickstory and in the top-right hand side of the application you will see a ‘Like’ button. If you click on it, it will prompt you for your Facebook login. Once you have provided your details and made sure you clicked on the ‘Keep me logged in’ button, Tickstory will automatically recognise you as a friend.

Hi Admin,

It’s not working for me. I’m using TickStory latest version 0.9.1 and MT4 Build 5.09 and when I try to launch from MT4, a window appears saying “A suitable launcher could not be found for your Metatrader version…”
Any help would be appreciated.
