Hi Rajivxxx, In the case of EURUSD, EUR is the base currency. In the case of USDCAD, USD is the base currency. In the case of XAGUSD, USD is the base currency.

Please go to the menu option File->Settings and change your “Dukascopy store location” to a folder that is not protected by Windows such as your Documents folder (eg. C:UsersDarrenlallDocuments).

Hi Marcel,

If you are referring to an MT4 export, the files are automatically written to the designated ‘MT4 Data folder’ which should be shown in the Tickstory settings (make sure you have selected an MT4 Installation folder and the data folder should automatically be detected).

If you are referring to a file export, specify the absolute pathname when exporting (for eg. C:Exports{Symbol}.csv) and the data file(s) will reside in the named directory.

For the moment there is no manual language selection. If you want, you can rename the ‘es’ directory within the application folder to something else. This will force the system to revert to English.

Volume in MT4 should represent the number of ticks in the bar. This change is planned in a future update of Tickstory.

v1.5.2 has just been released to include this pre-defined format. The volume output should also be outputted as an INT, as NinjaTrader expects. FYI, this can be done manually by specifying the following custom format which forces the volume field to be truncated to an int:

Custom Format: {BarBeginTime:yyyyMMdd} {BarBeginTime:HHmmss};{Open};{High};{Low};{Close};{Volume:F0}

Thanks for the offer to assist. The database format that Tickstory uses is merely the “raw” Dukascopy data format. We have already developed our own format to handle this data as part of the next major release. The intention is also to allow users to keep data in their “native” format (in this case CSV) so they don’t need to import it into yet another database and consume valuable time and disk space resources.

We are not aware of anything aside from market conditions which could affect this. Generally speaking, the Dukascopy data across most pairs for the past few years is quite comprehensive.
