Would you like a free license to a premium version of our software? If so, please read on!

We’d like to give the opportunity to our users to write an article or post a video (in your native language) about how you use Tickstory. It can be something like how to export to Metatrader, how to use Tickstory data in Excel, or how to back-test with Tickstory and your favorite trading platform. The choice is up to you (with a few ground rules, explained below).

The purpose of this initiative is to share your knowledge with fellow Tickstorians across the globe in whatever language they speak. As we expand our features, we know that no other people can explain the software better than our avid users.

We will offer our users a complimentary licenses in the following way:

• Tier 1 – A Professional license for those who administer trading-related sites, blogs, forums or other social media groups and post an original, informative article or video about Tickstory.
• Tier 2 – A Standard license for those users who can post an original, infomative article or video about Tickstory.

The Guidelines

In order to ensure high-quality posts and ensure our community is posting appropriately on their selected platform, a few guidelines need to apply:

• • Your post/submission should contain informative/educational content with the primary purpose of educating others such as describing how you use Tickstory for your analysis or work.
  • For videos, please make sure it is at least 5 minutes in length. Written posts should contain at least 500 words of text with appropriate screenshots. We welcome (and encourage) submissions in all languages.
  • Any articles that are published must be within the guidelines of the social media platform you are posting in. Spam or promotional material will not be accepted. The goal is to be informative and appropriate (i.e. don’t go posting an article on a discussion forum where the content is not welcome).
    
  • The video or post needs to be a permanent submission and not deleted/revoked at a later date.
  • The article/submission should provide a link to https://tickstory.com. Affiliate links are not permitted (if you wish to promote Tickstory, check out our Affiliate Program instead).
  • Tier 1 users must have an established website or blog that can demonstrate an active audience. This includes (but not necessarily limited to):
    • YouTubers that regularly publish trading related content to their community.
    • Trading groups (eg. Facebook) that have a community and regularly publish trading related articles (i.e. not just news feeds).
    • Users who have previously published informative articles to large audiences of financial traders.
    • Users who are actively publishing Tickstory back-tests of their trading performance to audiences.
  • Tier 2 users should be posting original content and;
    • Need to have a proven track-record of contributing to the platform they are publishing an article on. For example, if posting on a forum, it is expected that you have been a member for at least 6 months and have at least 20 posts over that period that demonstrate you are committed to contributing and helping others learn.
    • Cannot post the same or similar content on the same top-level domain. For example, if someone has already posted an article about “How to back-test with Tickstory” in English on AWebSite.com, then further submissions will not be accepted. You could, however, publish other original content as long as it explains an entirely different feature of Tickstory.

The best articles will be show-cased on our website and will publish a link directly to your article to help raise awareness of your great work!

Please note that facilitating unsolicited spam and low-quality posts goes against our ethos. If your post/submission is removed or rejected by the administrators/users of the platform, we reserve the right to revoke any license(s) issued to you.

How to get started

1. Contact us with your idea. We’d be happy review it before you start. If you qualify for a Tier 1 license, we can offer a temporary license for you to write your content. We also have an Beta Program to test the latest fully-featured versions of our software.
   
2. Write your content and post it online.
3. Send us your content’s link. If your submission falls within our guidelines, we will issue you a free Standard or Professional license!
