in reply to: Translations? #18605
Hi Skipper,
We’ve sent you the translation files to your private email.
Thanks for the help!
Hi Nefeli77,
Sounds like an MT4 specific issue you are having so not sure if we can assist. Just make sure you have the ‘visual’ mode selected before you start your back-test. You usually don’t need to ‘open’ the chart because it will automatically open a chart to show you the results in real-time.
Regards.

Thank you for the release. I have not faced the problems (basecommision, not enough money … )
That’s great news, appreciate the feedback, Slk!
Hi mrmedia,
Tickstory is written in Microsoft .Net. You will need at least .Net version 3.5 to run the app.
We haven’t tested Tickstory on Wine, but we believe it should install ok. Please let us know how you go with the installation and running of the app, along with any errors you encounter, and we can advise how to proceed.
Thanks for your interest in Tickstory!
in reply to: Adding recent tick data #18810Hi emmarita,
Good to know that Tickstory has been useful to you!
Downloading more recent data is no problem – as you correctly stated, it simply adds to the data that is already there.
As for the MT4 export, you will need to export the entire period again. This is because any subsequent exports will clear the previous .fxt and .hst files and recreate them in the period you select on the Export to MT4 screen.
Please let us know if you encounter any other issues.
in reply to: Problems launching MT4 #18813Hi Tradexfol,
We currently do not support Metatrader builds 483 and 500, so please use an older build.
Please let us know which Tickstory version you are using as well as the last Metatrader version that the launch function worked for. Once we have this information we can help you further.
Thanks!
in reply to: Save user specified download settingsDown #18807Hi bluebox,
Thanks for your interest in Tickstory!
Currently we do not have a feature to save your preferences on the data export screen. We will add this to the list of user requested features and update this thread if it becomes available in a future release.
in reply to: v0.9 Release Candidate available #18780Hi lam200017,
If clicking the link isn’t working, please try to right click on the link and select “Save As”, “Save link as…” or “Save target as…” (depending on your browser).
If this does not fix the issue, please let us know which browser you are using to download the file and we will investigate further.
Thanks for your interest in Tickstory!
in reply to: MT4 Launch Issue (Build 500) #18771Hi there,
Please refer to the following post if you wish to downgrade your MT4 terminal:
As per our recommendation, you should install a MT4 version specifically for back-testing which will avoid automated upgrades and therefore wont cause interruptions to your testing.
We unfortunately don’t have an ETA of when the launcher will be updated at this moment.
Hope this helps.
in reply to: mt4 build 489 #18739Hi Boji – I’m not sure what error you are getting but you can try one of the links listed on that page:

in reply to: MT4 Launch Issue (Build 500) #18768Hi ErodeMani,
Unfortunately the launcher does not currently support this version at the moment. You will need to use an earlier version of MT4 (Build 432-482) until the launcher is upgraded.
Thanks.

in reply to: Historical data date range for Dukascopy data #18699Hi eromawyn,
Thanks for pin-pointing that for us. I’m not aware of the additional data on CFDs, etc. being available except via the Dukascopy website. If it is, we’ll be sure to add it!
Kind regards.
