in reply to: Modelling quality problems with v1.7 #21097Hi Romanzif,
It does not appear you have applied your license correctly. Are you sure you received a message saying your license was valid after pressing ‘OK’ on the license screen?
If you are still having issues, please PM your order details (do not post license details publically or it could invalidate the license). We could not find any order information with the email address you have registered.Thanks.

Are you using v1.7 of Tickstory? If so, make sure you have applied your license in Help->License.

in reply to: lost FXT files #19175Hi all,
We have confirmed that there is an issue with marking files as ‘read only’ specifically when the FXT files are created for the first time. Once they have been created, there should be no issue.
If anyone experiencing different symptoms, please provide us with more details so we can try reproduce the problem.
We will be providing a fix for the mentioned problem shortly and will update this thread when it is available.Thanks.
in reply to: Tick-Volume #19105Hi there,

in reply to: Excel to MT4 (realtime data feed) #20632Hi John,
Thanks for the link. We have written some code for the Google import, however it probably wont get released until the next major update.
Glad to see you back online!
in reply to: v1.7 Released! #21034Hi ChuckNZ,
An issue has been mentioned on this thread:
http://www.tickstory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=246&p=1414
So far we have been unable to reproduce the issue. You mention that this only occurs “sometimes”. Would you be able to note to us the exact steps that you are performing to get the problem? If you could follow up on the above-mentioned thread that would be great.
We will try your suggestion of only selecting a few FXT time-frames to see if this causes the problem.7 Sep – UPDATE: We have confirmed that there is an issue when the files are created for the first time. Please see thread for further details.
Thanks.in reply to: Symbol Setting Error #21086Hi Worker,
Thanks for the further information, however it’s still not clear where the error message shown in your ‘second’ screenshot are coming from. Is this being reported by your EA? Also, can you confirm that you are launching MT4 via Tickstory and that your FXT files are marked as ‘read-only’ when you view them in Windows Explorer (if not, can you please flag them manually as read-only immediately after export)?
Thanks.
in reply to: Symbol Setting Error #21084Hi,
I’m not sure what you mean by “the script”. See the attached screenshot – it shows how to set the Tick Size and Tick Value to 0.01 in the “Export to MT4” window. We have just performed an export with these values and then opened the FXT file with the Data Editor and everything appears correctly as 0.01.
If you are still having issues, you will need to give a detailed step-by-step explanation of what you are doing and what the problem is.
Thanks.
