A Testing Profile is a saved set of test configuration settings. For example, if you have configured a test that includes variable spread and slippage, you can save these settings as a profile. Each profile can then be loaded for the specific testing type you wish to perform.
1.Profile name - This is an arbitrary (but unique) name for the current profile. Choose a name that describes the purpose of the settings to quickly identify it.
2.Drop-down Profile Selector - Pull-down box that shows previously saved profiles. Selecting one from the list immediately loads the given profile by setting all the test parameters.
3.Save Profile - This saves the current test parameters into the specified Profile name.
4.Delete profile - This deletes the currently named profile.
5.Revert settings - This reverts/clears all the test parameters to the their default values.
To save the current settings as a profile:
1.In the Profile Name text box, type a descriptive name (alphanumeric values and spaces are permitted). 2.Press the Save button.
Your profile has now been saved and will be available in the drop-down list for future use. |
To load a previously saved profile:
1.Press the drop-down selector box and choose the desired profile name from the list.
Your profile will be loaded into the Testing Parameters box and immediately ready for testing.

To delete an existing profile:
1.Select the drop-down box and choose the profile name you wish to delete. 2.Press the Delete button and confirm.
The profile has now been deleted from the system. |
To revert the current settings back to defaults, press the Revert button. Once this has been done, all test settings will go back to their default values.
