To add a new terminal, go to File > Add Terminal or press the Add Terminal toolbar button. A screen shot of the entry dialog is described below.

A screen shot of the entry dialog is shown above. The fields are as follows:
.Title - An arbitrary description of the terminal to help you quickly identify it (eg. "IG Markets").
.Installation Folder - The folder location where this Metatrader installation exists (eg. C:\Program Files (x86)\Metatrader 4).
.Server Name - This is the server name being used. Choose from the given selections once a valid Installation Folder has been set.
.Data Folder - This is the location where Metatrader Data Folder exists. This is automatically detected and is available for editing for advanced users only.
.Startup Parameters - Add any command-line parameters that you wish to pass to Metatrader when the application is started.
.Testing Profile - This is the default Testing Profile that will be used for this terminal.
.Portable mode - Denotes that the MT4 Installation Folder and Data Folder are the same. This is a special mode supported by Metatrader 4 which allows the application and its data to be stored in the same location. This is especially useful for users wanting to store their data on a removable drive.
.Enable Testing on Startup - Denotes whether the Testing Console should enable advanced test features for this terminal.
