It sounds like there is some sort of internet connectivity issue on your end if you’re getting “The remote name could not be resolved”. In Tickstory, please go to File->Settings->Dukascopy Datasource and try ‘Test’ your configuration. If you are still getting the same error, try see if you can browse to the Dukascopy website in your internet browser.
Regarding the MT4 message, you will note that this is not an error message – it is merely informing you that the tick file was successfully found.

i have again exported the data and it said completed without any error. now when i launch mt4 from tickstory it gives this message

this is mt4 inbuild standard macd ea.
Have you checked the MT4 History Center? Does it have the correct dates for the data you exported?
