    Hi Trader2384,

We have tried a basic MT4 export for EURUSD and the 4hr bars start from 00:00 hours.
Please provide further details for us to reproduce the issue such as the type of export (File? MT4?), the symbol and date range.

    Thank you.

    Hi Trader2384,

We have exported the day you highlighted and it still cannot reproduce the problem (it is also a little hard to tell from the screenshots which bar has been highlighted). Can you please check the MT4 History Center to confirm that the bar you are seeing actually exists in the data? If so, could you please let us know the exact time range you have exported and if you have used any time-shifts. It could be that the issue is specific to the time at which the first bar is exported.

    Thanks.

    dates exported: 2012.sep.02 to 2013.sep.01
on closer look, the issue is only with the H4 chart where the candles open at one of the following times: 1:00, 5:00, 9:00, 13:00, 17:00, 21:00. Same offset on other dates as well. I don’t remember seeing any offset option during the download process and all of the timeframes were downloaded with the same settings/at the same time.

    Hi Trader2384,

Thanks – those specific dates seem to yield the issue. We are looking at the issue and hope to provide a fix shortly.

    Regards.

(P.S – this post will be moved to the “bugs & issues” section).

    Hi,

Unfortunately, the problem isn’t fixed H4 is not producing the same data as before
and certainly doesn’t look anything like data from other ECN brokers.

In GMT +7 it hasn’t changed DST.

Let’s hope we can get some consistency in the data!

    Many Thanks

is that related to the dukascopy data source?

    Hi Tickroll,

What issue are you referring to? The fix applies specifically to the issue that Trader2384 has raised with regard to the H4/Daily bars being out-of-sync in some cases.

    Thanks.

I don’t know if you were replying to my last response but I didn’t understand what you meant by “H4 is not producing the same data as before
and certainly doesn’t look anything like data from other ECN brokers.” Does that mean there is a problem with the dukascopy data – did it change since the beginning of this thread?

    Hi Trader2384,

Yes, XAUUSD / H4 / EST +7 / Dukascopy data. I exported with the new 1.4 version, the bar chart looks nothing like the one from a week ago,
I also compared it to several ECN brokers. There is something very wrong, I think it has to do with the Timezone conversion process.
Of course my EA has gone from great profit to zero. Any ideas?
