will MT4 merge old broker data into Duka data?

i am setting up for the first time.

does MT4 load historical broker data before the Dukascopy data period? in other words, if i open MT4 via tickstory, then open a chart, i see the (troubled--lots of bad ticks) Dukascopy data and i scroll further into the past than i have tickstory data for (hit Home or PageUp keys on chart). does MT4 load broker M1 data, and merge it with my Duka data?

Hi Jivetrader,

Sorry for the delayed reply. When you export from Tickstory it completely re-creates the MT4 historical data files.
