A suitable launch could not be found... MT4 build 1441

Hi

Tickstory cannot launch MT4 Build 1441. As per error message, Tickstory could launch up to build 1440. When a update will be available for MT4 build 1441?

Hi David,

Tickstory v1.9.8.7 and above (i.e. including v1.9.8.8 that you're using) does support MT4 Build 1441. Could you please go through our troubleshooting check-list here and see if that resolves the problem? If the launcher was working fine before, please try launching again after MT4 has started to see if that helps.

I went through the checklist, but I still get the same error. Tickstory runs fine on my desktop computer, but I get this message when I try to run it on my VPS. Could be this the issue? My VPS run on Windows Server 2022.

Hi Davidvi,

We have run Tickstory successfully on Windows 2022 (Desktop Experience). Do note however that this was done under the Administrator user and without any additional software/restrictions involved.

Did the launch work at any stage on the Windows Server installation? Does Tickstory actually launch MT4 when it hasn't been started yet?

Hi

I rebooted my VPS and it works now! It's weird, but something happened that help during the rebooting. No clue what though.
I can now launch MT4 from Tickstory.
