Tickstory Info EA & Automatic Updates

Does the Tickstory Info EA require live connection to the server? If so, wouldn't MT4 try to update itself? Is there a way to run Tickstory Info EA without MT4 auto-updating (I have finally gotten system working with build 432)? Thank you

Hi Trader2384,

Tickstory does not require a connection to the broker (except when you're generating your own MT4 settings). If you wish to prevent automatic live-updates, just rename the 'liveupdate.exe' to 'liveupdate1.exe" (or the like) to prevent this from happening. It can then be run manually as required.
