Bug on HST export

Post by isaacp »

With V0.9, when I try import to MT4 an HST file that I exported from Tickstory (GBPUSD daily), the -open,high,low,close- are ALL 2.0000, I checked with a Hex Editor, and in the HST file, this if the numbers -2.000-, Somehow the numbers are rounded.

Hi isaacp,

We tried to reproduce your issue with Tickstory v0.9 and MT4 Build 432 and were not able to.
Steps taken were:

- Export GBPUSD from 2007.03.30 to 2013.06.11 (all other settings were default). Wait for export to complete.
- Go to MT4 History Center and double-click on GBPUSD->Daily Timeframe. All data appears correctly from 2007.
- Select 'Import' and select the GBPUSD1440.hst file in the history folder. The first few lines of data from 2013 are shown and appears correctly.

Please ensure that your terminal is not connected to a broker as this has potential to overwrite your exported data.

Thanks.
