Is it possible to launch two MT4 for backtesting ?

Hi - That shouldn't affect your testing.

Hi Hir0406,
That's odd. Unfortunately we can't answer that one for you because it's the MT4 Strategy Tester that is doing this. It is possible that you could be running out of memory (or something related to testing large amounts of data). What I would be doing is reducing the size of your optimization sets. If you still need to test large ranges, for reassurance I would be allowing your large optimization to complete and subsequently comparing the results to a shorter optimization run. If the results are the same, then you will have a higher level of confidence that it the quirk you're seeing is just related to a minor bug in the Strategy Tester user-interface.
Would be great to hear how you go.
Thanks.
