Backtesting with DE30 and GOLD

Hello,

When i exported EUR/USD tick data or others forex instruments to MT4 and lunched MT4 for back-testing through Tickstory everything is fine,
but when i exported DE30 or Golds it dosnt work. Please where is problem?

Hi and thanks agian.
These threads help me just with DE30, but not with the Golds. I tried many combinations of settings with Golds and it does not work... Plese help.

tnx fot this tread,I checked it thoroughly
my problem is when i start Exprot to MT4 it works very quick for example 1year ago 15mTF and my fxt file si just 1kb thats why i have error - wrong bars count 0, and i dont know why...

Hi Windk,

If your FXT file is 1kb, this indicates some other problem. Are sure you have enough disk-space for the FXT file? Are you getting any other errors? When you say it works "quickly" are you seeing the progress counter go from 0 to 100% quickly or is it just going immediately to "Complete". If you able to provide any further relevant information this may help diagnose the issue.

Hi buddy,

-yes i have a lot disk-space
-yes i see the progress counter go from 0 to 100% but its go very fast compared to other instruments
