EA crashes after first order

Hello,

I have been downloading the new 1.7.3. build as MT4 version I am using is build 920. I have downloaded dax index data and mapped them to [DAX30] as my broker uses this symbol. When I start my own EA the strategy tester crashes after the first order was opened. Then I tried the MACD sample and the same thing happened (on 10th of December 2015). I have downloaded the data from 9.12.15 to 12.12.15.
Could you please advice what I need to do in order to use your software for my EA?

Hello Stefan,

It appears there are issues with MT4 Build 920 which are being discussed on this thread:

The current advice is to roll-back to Build 910 and wait until we have a stable release. We will update the above-mentioned thread with any further news on this.

Using the recommendations there I was able to perform MACD sample and my own EA as well.

Good to hear, Stefan! At this stage, make sure you have "/skipupdate" in your Tickstory settings (File->Settings->MT4 Settings->Command-line parameters) to prevent any new updates from breaking your stride
