Problem with v 1.60 and MT4 b 840

Hi,
I bought the key for the latest version 1.60 and registered TickStory Lite 1.60 with it. When I bring up latest MT4 b.840 (Tools --> Launch MT4) I don't see at the top "Metatrader 4 with TickStory Launcher' but simply the usual 'Demo Account'. Also when I run a backtest I only get 90% modelling not 99%. So I think the latest TickStory patcher does not patch MT4 correctly and I am doing the backtest with native MT4 data. I had no errors during installation. Can you recommend a fix for this please? Thank you.

Hi Lenny,

We've tested Build 840 and everything is working correctly. Ensure you have applied your v1.6 license before attempting to launch MT4.

I had uninstalled TickStory Lite 1.60 and did a registry clean with CCleaner. Then re-installed it again and applied the license key. Sterted MT4 via Tools--> MT4 Launcher and did a backtest and got 99% modelling. However, the main MT4 title bar still says 'MT4 Demo - Demo' not 'MT4 Tickstory Launcher' as expected. If you can rectify this in a future release that would help us to know the patch is working and that the MT4 platform is running with TickStory. I understand that MT4 might try to overwrite this title, but it should be doable somehow just like Birt's TickData Suite is doing.

Hi Lenny,

Good to hear you resolved the issue. Yes, it is possible that MT4 overrides the title bar. The definitive way of telling whether you have successfully launched MT4 is if you receive no errors when using the "MT4 Launch" button. When no error notification is given, you are good to go.
