backtests cut off short

Hello. I am having a few issues with tickstory lite. I am running a MBT demo and have followed all of the guidelines. I have the correct folders, and have had to go back in pretty much every time to make my loaded FXT file read only. I mapped the file name correctly as well (e.g., GBPUSD to "GBPUSD.") So here is my issue. I load the data, make the FXT read only, then open MT4 through tickstory. All goes well sometimes, but usually after the first or second back test, my test stops after some period of bars. I will wake up hoping to see two years of 99% quality tests, but comeback to only one or two months of 99% quality tests. When I try to rerun the tests, eventually, it starts and stops immediately, almost like the data isn't there. Usually, I just end up reloading the data and starting from scratch. I have done this like nine times for different pairs so far. I read the forum and it looks like I may need to load the data after I "like" tickstory, but I cannot get that gold star to appear no mater how many times I like it on my facebook account. Any suggestions? Is this a data size issue (each fxt file is 2,050,402 KB - two years of GBPUSD) . Thanks all. Maybe after I save some I will pony up for Berts materials, after all it is worth the cash.

Hey there. After trying out the standard MACD EA, I figured out, go figure, that this was an issue with my EA, not the data or load. I still cannot "like" tickstory, if that matters at all.

BTW, it looks to me like the 2GB limit has been lifted to 4GB on the latest build of MT4. Is anyone else seeing that?

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for getting back to us. As of v1.0, the launcher is enabled for all users so you don't explicitly need to have clicked 'Like' (although it's a nice gesture .
