Thanks you’re awesome. If I can suggest please always post the .exe of the MT4 on which you did your test, so we won’t get strange bug (like I had)

    Hi Johntiror,

Generally speaking we will try to support any “mainstream” builds that have been released, however if you have a Build 509 from a broker the executables should not differ from the Build 509 we use.

    Regards.

Well, I don’t know why but tickstory wasn’t able to recognize my alpari mt4 build 507…

Hi John – could you please provide the executables on a file share site and we will have a look. The launcher was tested on Builds 500 and 509 so there must have been additional changes in-between.

    Thanks.

    Hi

Did the previous John supply the Alpari build. I am asking as none of my 509 clients will launch I had to download a 435 from your site to do backtests which seems much slower than the 509. Is there something strange about alpari. I overwrote my client with the 509 one in this post and it still will not recognise it. I am using 0.9.2 tickstory.

Many thanks and this is an amazing product.

    Cheers

    John

    Hi John,

Have you checked out this thread if you are having issues with Build 509:

    viewtopic.php?f=4&t=204

Please ensure you have clicked on the Facebook ‘Like’ button in the top-right of the application to activate the launcher for Build 509.

    Hope this helps!

Many thanks that did the trick I did not notice the like button in the top right hand corner and had no idea that related to functionality. This is a fantastic product and simplifies the 99% testing saga no end, I had tested a client on 90% that showed 17000 pip profit last year but it actually loses on 99.9% as has a close trailing stop.

    Thanks again

    John
