    Hi,

Seems like Dukascopy updated their data ; I also have (and I know for sure that these file weren’t on Dukascopy servers in January) :
    AUDCAD 13 mar 2007
    USDSGD 16 nov 2004
    USDTRY 13 mar 2007
    XAUUSD 2 mar 2005

Some other might pairs also have longer history now, I didn’t check them all. Dukascopy also has offers stock, futures & commodities data to download on their website, but I don’t know how to download them directly.

It could be a nice feature to add the ability to these data with Tickstory.

Also, it could be interesting to add the correct dates inside tick story (next to the buttons for last year/last 6m/last month/last week, add a button ‘since the beginning’). You don’t even have to add the dates in tickstory, download them from most recent to last recent, and when 3 days are missing, you can assume it’s the end. And also add another button (“all downloaded range”) when exporting them.

    Hi eromawyn,

Thanks a lot for the update on this topic and for the suggestions. Regarding the features you mentioned to make downloading easier, these items are in the pipeline in the revamped version of Tickstory.

Regarding the futures & commodities that Dukascopy are offering, I could not find any reference to them. Would you have a URL that mentions this? The only commodities we’re aware of is Gold and Silver and these are provided in the application.

    Thanks!

For Dukascopy data, go to this http://www.dukascopy.com/swiss/english/marketwatch/historical/

Ok, may be you were there, but what we’re looking for is hidden : inside the iframe, click on “Forex” (on top of “Majors/Crosses/Metals”), and oh, you’ve got new choices for “Commodities (CFD)”, “Indices (CFD)” and “Stocks (CFD)”.

    Hi eromawyn,

Thanks for pin-pointing that for us. I’m not aware of the additional data on CFDs, etc. being available except via the Dukascopy website. If it is, we’ll be sure to add it!

    Kind regards.

Hi thuythuyyen – if the data is available, then Tickstory is able to download and export the information.
If there are updated date ranges, then please let us know what they are on this thread and we will summarise the changes..

    Thanks.

    Hi

Thankyou for providing an awesome tool – it has made a huge difference to my testing thus far.
I would also be interested in the CFD data – principally the indexes.
Do you have any idea when this might be possible to include this data?

    thanks

    Hi Simoncs,

As far as we are aware, not all the symbols that are available on the Dukascopy website are available for general download. Are the symbols you mention are available in the JForex platform? If so, it may be possible to get this data.

    Regards.

Do you plan to add comodities CFD availables in historical data feed page ?
It would be great because it’s a pain to find hitorical data for oil

    Hi lougavot,

As far as we are aware, this information is only available on the Dukascopy website. If/when they make it available on their JForex platform we should be able cater for this.

    Regards.
