    Hi DMFX,

    What Build is your MT4? Can you try pressing the F8 (Launch) key again after MT4 has started and see if this resolves your issue?

    Hi Fxkiss,

    Ensure you have applied the license you were issued by email in Tickstory’s Help->License menu option.

    Hi

    I have build metatrader version 840 with Darwinex and am getting same unable to launch issue, I didn’t receive an email and cant find Tickstory’s Help->License menu option.
    Any help much appreciated thanks.

    Hi Danchik – thanks for clarifying. The “launch parameter” field actually allows you to specify additional parameters when starting terminal.exe. This is particularly useful if you want to run MT4 in portable mode. If you specify “/portable” in the launch parameters, Tickstory will issue the command:

    terminal.exe /portable

    Specifying “start.bat” will not start your batch file but instead invoke:

    terminal.exe start.bat

    which is obviously not what you want.

    Hi Danchik,

    This feature is not designed to run batch files or scripts. It is used to add additional parameters after the “terminal.exe” call.
