Do I need to save FXT for every timeframe?

Hi guys,
Looking for some help being new to Tickstory.
First- my understanding of FXT files is they contain the relevant tick data required by MT4's Strategy Tester (please correct me if I'm wrong).
My Question:
- Is one (1) FXT file required for each timeframe that you wish to test in MT4's strategy tester (using "Every Tick Method")?
Or
- Can we simply have one FXT file that can be used for testing all timeframes (Using "Every Tick Method")?
I understand HST files store different timeframes..
Appreciate your help.
