Tickstory

Hi,

I'd like to be able to export data to a portable MT4 installation (Build 765). I can export the data to the portable platform, but I can't use the TickStory launcher to open the platform, because when I select the portable installation path in TickStory it says its invalid (see attached imgage).

Is there any way I can use MT4 without the Tick Story launcher? Or is there any way around the Invalid Installation mesage?

Hi Sel,

If you are intending to back-test with tick data then you will need to successfully launch MT4 via Tickstory. In some cases MT4 takes some time to load which might generate this error. If so, try selecting the 'launch' option again once MT4 has fully started and see if this works (you will know when you get 99.9% back-test results).
