Can not launch the Tickstory Lite in xp

I installed the version 1.4 in my window xp (sp3) (with .net framework 4.0). But no any response when I clicking the Tickstory.exe. No error, just cannot launch it. I don't know why? Anyone can help me on this?

Hi Yeswinner,
What build of MT4 are you using? Note that it is recommended that you upgrade your O/S if you want to use Tickstory. That said, we have no known issues using the launcher under XP.

Hello, i installed the version 1.5.1 and Tickstory.exe also does not run. What the problem?
Windows XP, SP3

Hi Sonny,
The most common issue when you have problems running Tickstory is to make sure you have .NET v3.5 installed (NET v4.0 is unfortunately not the same as .NET v3.5). If this doesn't resolve the issue, please give us further details of the error you are getting.

I have installed .NET v2 SP2, .NET v3 SP2, .NET v3.5 SP1 and .NET v4
No errors, no logs, just try launch and nothing happening

i had the same issue with windows xp x64 after installing 3.5 net framework and i did the following:
go to the console (win+r) and type in "wuauclt /detectnow" which manually makes windows look for updates
after several seconds the win update pops up and asks you if updates should be downloaded (if you have activated that option in the windows update settings)
there should be several security updates for net framework 3.5
download + install updates and restart
do the same thing again and there will be the net framework 3.5 service pack 1
download, install and restart and now tickstory will work fine :]
(you can probably also just download the 3.5 SP1 manually, idk)
