"You are using an old format FXT (MT4 build 509 or lower) with a new MT4 build."
I export ticks in Tikstory Lite latest version. FXT file used in program Tick Data Suite.
WTF? All the latest version of the program.

Norbertino -
Were you able to resolve this issue?
I am getting same error message - trying to resolve it myself…
Pass on the answer if you found it?
Thanks!

Hi
I have the same Error ("You are using an old format FXT (MT4 build 509 or lower) with a new MT4 build") and I use tickstory light: version 1.5.1.0 (download from dukascopy tick DB)
MT4 is version 4.00 Build 670.
What is to do?
Thank you for your help

Hi,
I found the mistake.
Even it was a new version of MT4,Tickstory exported the old format. It was not automatically detected (other than described).
I changed the file-format and than it was ok.
Best regards.

Hi Hdstrueter,
That's interesting, we have tried reproducing the issue with Build 670 but it does select the expected output format (i.e. Build 545+). The system should automatically detect your MT4 version and select the appropriate format. If it's not doing that then yes, you'll need to manually select the format before exporting.
Regards.
