Model Quality always shows "n/a" – even with full FXT + HST export (Pro user)

Hi,
I'm a Tickstory Pro user and recently purchased a full license ($100), but I'm experiencing a persistent and critical issue: the modeling quality in MetaTrader 4 always shows "n/a", no matter what I do.
Here’s what I’ve already done:
- Exported both FXT and HST files using Tickstory Pro with full M1 data (over 5 years)
- The FXT file size is over 8GB
- FXT is marked as read-only
- HST files are correctly placed in the appropriate history folder
- I’m using the exact symbol name (EURUSD) and M1 timeframe
- Strategy Tester is set to “Every tick (the most precise method)”
- The FXT file was manually patched using Python to ensure model byte (0x58) is set to 1 (model 1)
- I’m using a portable MT4 terminal, build 1441, to ensure compatibility
Despite all this, MT4 still logs the test as “model 0” in the Journal:
TestGenerator: symbol EURUSD period 1 model 0 from ...
It even overwrites the FXT file if I remove the read-only flag, meaning MT4 doesn’t recognize the file as valid and creates its own default version.
I purchased Tickstory Pro specifically for 99.90% modeling quality in backtesting, but currently, I can’t get MT4 to properly use the exported tick data. It always defaults to model 0 and shows "n/a".
Can you please advise:
- Is Tickstory Pro still compatible with MT4 build 1441 for proper tick-based FXT usage?
- Is there a known workaround to force MT4 to use the exported FXT file as model 1?
- Has the FXT structure or signature changed in a way that MT4 no longer accepts it?
I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you.
