Tickstory

Been trying for two days straight now. Following your guides, youtube guides etc but I cant make this work. Trying to get data from the DAX index to MT4 but for some reason the price data is at 3000 (see attached image) when DAX is trading at 19000. I am trying to perform a backtest but no trades get generated, though it gets if I use the data on the demo account that Pepperstone has, so the Expert Advisor is working.

Hi Robintrader,

First up, make sure you are exporting the symbol Indices->"DEU.IDX" from Tickstory. Secondly, make sure that in the "MT4 Settings" tab of the MT4 export screen, you have selected the name of your MT4 symbol (i.e. "GERTEC30.r") in the "Map to" field, as described in our manual.

Once your export is complete, please make sure you restart your MT4 so it can refresh the chart data from the database. If you are not getting 99.9% modelling quality when you back-test then please check our trouble-shooting guide.

Hi again

Today i tried again and got this message when I pressed "Launch MT4". What can the issue be? Its the same MT4 account, have not changed anything.

Hi again, it's 1425, see attached image.

The weird thing is that it worked in Gold. But when I tried DAX and Naturalgas neither worked, get this message in both.
