Virus detected new released

Hello

The latest version of tickstory is coming up with virus alerts from Norton and Mcafee, can the Tickstory team get in touch with them so that this latest version gets whitelisted.

Hi Mu2k,

Could you please tell us the version you are referring to (from Help->About)? VirusTotal shows no issues for any of 71 anti-virus applications. If you haven't already, make sure you are only downloading the application from our website and verify that the Digital Certificate on the application is valid.

Hi mu2k,

As noted on the link above, there are no detections for v1.9.7.11 on any of the major virus software applications. I suggest you scan your PC before continuing and also ensure you have a valid installation file that has been downloaded directly from our website and has digital signatures described above.

Hi Mu2k,

Unfortunately we cannot replicate any of the behavior you describe. In addition, the previous link shows that the genuine version of Tickstory is free of any issues across all the anti-virus engines tested. At this stage we can only assume that the issue is local to your system. We therefore recommend that you try (in order):

- Update your virus software and virus signatures.
- Fully scan your PC to ensure there are no viruses on your system that are causing the issue.
- Try another browser.
- Try another PC.
- Temporarily disable your virus checker and download the setup. Then, check the Digital signature as described above to ensure it is valid and therefore unmodified from the authentic version.
- If you have an administrator that maintains access to your network/PCs, please advise them of the issue.

One of the above will fix your situation. In the absence of any new information we will be closing this issue.
