Tickstory

I set a path for my files: C:\This PC\Documents\tick data
When I try to download I get an error message:
Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Tickstory\{}.cvs denied

Can you help me figuring out the problem?

Hi Cristina,

The output location you have specified is not a writable folder and therefore you are getting an "Access denied" message.

For clarity, there are several areas where you can specify file paths. In File->Settings->Store Location. This is where all your cached tick data will be stored (this data is in a special compressed format and is for internal use only by Tickstory).

The other location (and I think this is the one you are referring to), is in Tools->Export to file->Filename. For this file specification, please use the full path-name to store the data (default is in the current folder which is not writable in your case). Instead, specify something like:
