Tickstory

newbie questions... (tickstory standard)
1-once I download tick data, say EURUSD for 2019-2020, I can backtest against that data in MT4 as many times as I want without re-downloading, as long as I always launch metatrader from tickstory, right? (Changing EAs, changing date ranges, adjusting candles, etc.)
2-if I accidentally re-download tick data, will that cause any issues or does it just overwrite the old data?

In response to your questions:
1) That's correct.
2) If you are referring to the cached/downloaded data, Tickstory will not need to re-download previously downloaded data.
If you export the same range again, then yes, it will simply overwrite the old data.
