Yes, Tickstory was re-created the config file, so seems it's not a permission problem, the application can write to that folder.
And yes, tickstory works fine on my local machine (windows 7).

Hi,

I cleaned up my vps, uninstalled everything for which I thought that is not necessary, so I removed tickstory, every .net framework, not just 3.5, but v2, v3, v4 etc.
When I finished with clean up, installed .Net 3.5 and tickstory, and guess what happend? It works like a charm :)

Hi Norbertbti,

Thanks for getting back - great to hear it works now.
The issue seems to be pointing to a corrupt .NET installation. We initially thought the problem may be due to some odd setup with where your configuration was stored, however this does not appear to be the case.

Hopefully this post will be able to assist others.
