Historical Data not showing in MT4

I raised this support ticket below on my old account samko and transferring it here, i have added more print screens to show that I changed the Map to to XAUUSD(£) exactly as my broker names it and it still didnt work

Re my licence, please confirm that I have support for a year as i purchased a £73 annual licence yesterday

I followed the instructions below to export XAUUSD data to my broker IGs MT4 platform, however when I import the data from History Centre i dont see any data presented to me, i dont know why its not working... pls advise and see attached print screens

Hi Samko,

If you are trying to import data into MT4, please follow this video on how to do that. The only extra thing to note from the steps presented in that video is before pressing 'OK' on the "Export to MT4" box, go to the MT4 Settings tab and select your broker's symbol from the "Map to" dropdown box, as described in more detail in our manual. You will notice that your broker's symbol names are different to TIckstory's ("EURUSD(£)" instead of just "EURUSD"), so you need to tell Tickstory this with the "Map to" option so it can export to your broker's symbol name.

As an side, please note that your subscription has now expired. If you wish to continue to have on-going priority support, you can easily update your subscription by going to Help->About in Tickstory and clicking the "Renew" button. This will also give you access to the latest version.

Hi Koikis,

Thanks for updating your details - we can confirm that we have located your license under this email address. Could we please have permission to consolidate your other purchase under the one set of details? This will eliminate any further confusion and allow us to quickly identify your purchases under the one email. Please let us know. Also, please note that you have purchased Tickstory Standard which includes 1-month of subscription and will renew automatically on a monthly basis until you cancel.

Regarding your issue, your settings look correct. the other other thing to note is whether you have multiple servers in your MT4 account and perhaps you haven't selected the correct one. To check this, go to File->Settings->MT4 Settings in Tickstory and if there are multiple servers shown in the "Select" selection box, choose the correct one.

After that, please proceed with your export and then go to Tools->Launch MT4. With the MT4 terminal that appears, go to the View->Strategy Tester and select your exported symbol XAUUSD(£) and the "Every Tick" model. Press the Start button and check if you are getting 99.9% modelling quality in the result. If you are, then all your data has been successfully exported to your MT4 terminal. If you aren't getting 99.9% modelling quality, please go to File->Open Data Folder in MT4, then browse to tester/history in Windows File Explorer and please send us a screenshot of the contents to we can help trouble-shoot further.
