Darwinex tick data support

Hi,

Darwinex has released its historical tick database for FX+CFD+crypto, which is available for free for download via FTP access
https://www.darwinex.com/tick-data

The downloaded data is separated day to day instead of one aggregated file with custom date set, which makes it convenient for quick treatment without further processing.

Wish you could adapt Tickstory to Darwinex, even release an alternate version dedicated to it, because Darwinex is a far superior broker to Dukascopy… They just do not compete in the same league !

Hi Bernardfruler,

Going through their sign-up process, it doesn't appear that their data is "free free" and requires you to go through opening an account. While this doesn't necessarily stop us from considering writing a data-source plugin for them, it will depend on how many users are out there actually using them.

If anyone would like to +1 for this plugin, please let us know.

Hi again, indeed I should have indicated that you have to register and verify, although it is not required to start funding.

Anyway, wouldn’t you be able to use a single access to collect data, eventually stock it and redispatch amongst your software users ? Probably, there a few ways to imagine an integration

I regret that Tickstory is not going to proactively support Darwinex tick data

Thanks for the info. Not sure where we said we couldn't/wouldn't support this To be honest, there seemed to be some brigading of this thread so we weren't sure if there was genuine interest or people just trying to promote Darwinex

The discussion definitely seems to suggest there is interest. If the Darwinex guys were open to providing us with a generic login to test with, we'd definitely explore this further.
Are you part of the team or could you assist with this?

Thanks for the email info. We have sent an email directly to Darwinex and will let you know the outcome.
Unfortunately it's not a production solution to use a personal account so we will see if Darwinex can provide some sort of permanent access.
