CSV File export

Post by quanttick »

Hello,

CSV File Export

I have an issue exporting to file. (export to csv; also tried Amibroker Bar format,....)
It won't produce a cvs file, but there are only a lot of ie. xxh_ticks.bi5 files.

I tried many times with different settings. (TIckstoryLite 1.5.3.0)

What could be the issue ?

Thanks

Hi Quanttick,

Please ensure you are specifying the full pathname to export to and then open that folder to access the exported data.
Check out our video on exporting for a step-by-step instruction:

Hi

This relates to export data to file. The software that is used is Forex Tester. Having followed all the steps and watched all your videos, read user manual etc.
I am working at exporting to file. There seems to be an issue with output file name(s). Have created files in the same way as your video.
The result is:
Folder does not exist
Output location does not exist.
Please specify a valid folder.

Hi

Got this working. Works right and data is good. The issue was the typing of the file destination, correcting this solved it.
:)

Thanks Tickstory

Hi Tradebyjames,

There is no need to create a folder. If you are referring to Metatrader 5, please check out our article that describes the Metatrader 5 import process step-by-step:

Thanks.
