Dear Support Team of Ticksotry,

I have problem which is the extension file of BTCUSD.mt4config doesn't show up in my PC directory -> C:\Users\reza\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\6FCE5472AD41EA835FE18911E8577CED\MQL4\Files

I try to understand your explanation in that link of frequentyly asked question -> https://tickstory.com/help/tickstorylit ... ng_quality

But I still dont understand your explanation about "You can force a valid filename by going to the EA's '*ConfigFileName*' parameter to “Broker.mt4config”"

This is I screen shoot what happen in my metatrader 4 :

Hi Yanthao,

By default, the output filename of the *.mt4config is automatically set by the Tickstory Settings EA. The "ConfigFilename" parameter in the EA allows you to manually set this. If you can't see the file, please check the Journal tab to see if there were any errors during the generation process.

Please note that the process of generating your settings is no longer necessary in the most recent versions of Tickstory. To get your symbol settings, all you need to do is select your broker's corresponding symbol name in the File->Export to MT4->MT4 Settings->Map To field. Once you have selected the symbol, all your symbol settings will be automatically set (although if you want to have commission settings, you can use any of your existing *.mt4config files for that).
