While downloading 12 forex pairs I thought I would have a look at a chart. The chart popped up but I could not get it to populate with tick data. I scrolled the scale up and down to see if the price was out of the display range. The numbers on the right (price) got higher and higher and then returned to 0 and a negative number and then the whole program froze.
Obviously I will not be doing any of that again, but thought you should know.
Crash when using chart
Re: Crash when using chart
Hi TradeBuilder,
Thanks for noting this. At the moment the charts are only intended to do "spot checks" to check the integrity of a date range. We are aware that it does not handle larger datasets since it is converting all the tick data to bars in real-time. We are working on a re-vamped version of the charts that aims to address this.
Thanks.
