TickStory Lite 365 days rule

Post by supersimsonfahrer »

Hello,
can you explain the 365 days rule exactly?
I try for 2 days to export the tick data from UsaTec from 01.01.2018 to 31.12.2018 in the MT4.
But I always get the error "You are allowed to export a maximum of 365 days". 2018 has only 364 days.
So where does the error come from?
Or are the 365 days calculated from the current date 03.02.2019?
Thank you for your explanation.

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

We've tried the dates you mention and we haven't found any issue during the export. Are you getting the message during the launch? If so, please make sure that all your exported data files are under 1-year. You can do this by going to File->Open Data Folder in MT4 and then browsing to tester/history. After that (and assuming you know the implicatons), you can delete all the *.HST files in this location except for the USATECH ones that you recently exported.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
yes, i get the message during the launch.
In the folders are only the fresh exported HST and FXT files.
Please take a look at the screenshots too.
Are you sure there is no error in code?

Hi,

Thanks for the further information. Could you please try exporting data from 1st Jan 2018 to 1st Dec 2018 and see if that works for you? Given that we can't reproduce the issue, we'd like to see if the issue relates to something with the exported dates or something else. As before, please make sure you have cleared all your FXT files prior to exporting just to make sure the existing data is not the cause.

Thanks.
