Hey,

I tried to import historical Dax data into Meta Trader 4 through the built in function of tickstory. Right click on Pair --> Export in MT4. The process runs well and finishes successfully. After that I tried to use the imported data in the strategy tester. But the following message appears. "2017.04.11 13:43:17.398 TestGenerator: no history data '[DAX30]1' from 2015.02.03 to 2015.03.04"

So I am not sure what the problem is. I dont also see any new data in the MT4 directory. I can only see the default historical data. It seems that the import didnt work properly. Any ideas ?

Hello Chazer,

In order to export Tickstory's DEUEURIDX symbol to your Metatrader symbol name "DAX30", you must "map" it accordingly. That is, when exporting to Metatrader, there is a "Map to" field in the "MT4 Settings" tab. Type "DAX30" in this field to ensure your data gets exported correctly.

For further information, this process is described in the manual (press F1 in Tickstory) and also you can find other examples by searching for "map to" in this forum.

But I have another question. I imported successfully data from 01.01.2012 to today. But I cannot import older data. For example 2009-2010 (DAX30) "Zeit Nachricht
