Virus malware warning 1.8.6

At least seven anti/malm ware tells latest update setup has trojan/malmware
avast, and 6 others in virustotal.com site.

Hi Kekkis,
Thank you for reporting this. We believe that these are false-positives being raised by the anti-virus checkers due to recent changes in our internal encryption. It seems that once Tickstory is installed, virus checkers do not have a problem with tickstory.exe, so it appears something to do with the way the application is packed (hence the "generic" virus flag). We of course do not recommend you circumvent or disable your virus checker. Instead, we have re-updated the installation and checked the new version with virustotal and everything passes. This isn't a permanent fix and it is possible that the software is going to be re-flagged again, so we are working anti-virus companies you mentioned to get this particular release on the white-list.
We suggest you refresh your copy from the download link (or perhaps run Tickstory in a sandbox) while we wait on a response from the anti-virus developers. So far, Symantec/Norton's have replied and white-listed the installation.

UPDATE: Avast have reviewed the application and have white-listed it.

Kaspersky Total security detected "UDS:DengerousObject.Multy.Generic" file "Tickstory.exe" via Kaspersky Security Network on fresh installation yesterday.
Please recheck with Kaspesky.

Thanks for the heads up, Alexeyp. It looks like some recently introduced generic detections are raising an alert again. We are following up on it now.

Kaspersky have advised that they have now corrected this problem and it should be resolved on their next virus signature update.
