1) I have TickStory Lite. when I open it it says there is an update for Build 950+ users available to "registered users". Does that mean the update is only available for the paid version? also, if I get the paid version, will I then be able to launch MT4 from TickStory? Currently, when I try to do that, I get error message saying it wasn't able to launch it.
2) The second issue is when I try to run Strategy Tester (MST) after downloading TS data, MST starts overwriting the FXT file and I get no trades on the MST optimization, just passes with "0.00" profit/loss. I am running TS as Administrator, ensured the EA is set in both places to allow DLL imports, and tried several other workarounds but the problem continues.

That's correct. Purchasing the "paid" version will allow you to launch Build 950. It will also entitle you to support so we can assist with other queries.
