Tickdata around DST-shift ??

Post by gooly »

Hi,

Please have a look at my therad here: http://forum.mql4.com/59043
There is something wrong with the weekend data around the time shift.
I cannot look into the stored .bi5-files of Dukaskopy to find out myself where is the mistake :(

Could it be that the folder-name (day of ticks) and file-name (hour of ticks) are in local Dukaskopy time, which might not be GMT but DST-depending?

Please can you tell me what is wrong and what can I do to be sure that I correctly catch 09:00 am GMT Monady morning?
How can I read the bi5-files - is there a simple way (program, scrip, powershel,..)

Add. Question: is it possible to create the Tickdtat-FXT-files by Birt's script but start the terminal to use these files by tickstory?

Hi Gooly,

From the thread you mentioned, it looks like you got your answer?

To answer your other question, you should be able to use tick-based FXT files generated by other applications with the Tickstory launcher.

Regards.
