Hello,
Im trying to configure my MT4 but i am unable to do it. I installed my MT4 platform on an external disk and make it portable so i have all data on the external disk. Although when i run the tickstory and configure the settings it always migrate the settings to the main disk even if i force the Data folder to be on external disk. Can please help me ?

Could you please confirm that your settings are the same as described in the "portable" section of our configuration manual?
That is, your MT4 Data Folder should be the same as your MT4 Installation folder and you should have "/portable" (without quotes) in your command-line arguments.
If you are still having problems after this, could you please confirm how you are launching MT4 - is it via Tickstory or via a shortcut link? If the later, make sure it also has the "/portable" switch in the startup specification. Basically, which-ever way you launch MT4 should have this switch, otherwise MT4 will revert back to the C: drive for storing data.
