Tickstory

Hello,

I am interested in the trade data(transaction time, price, volume), I am not interested in (bid/ask price, bid/ask volume).

Is there a way to download tick trade data using TickStory ? If the answer is no, then is there a way to construct trade data from tick data ?

Hi Marketstudent,

The data currently provided by Dukascopy is pricing only. Typically in FX you only get the pricing information and not the trades. There is no way to get the trade information from the price as this is a different set of information. That said, if you need to input the trades into your charting package, you can use the bid or ask price as a proxy depending on what you are trying to do.

At a later date, Tickstory will be supporting other types of data such as trade and depth information.
