After downloading years worth of data over hours (and hours) I'm getting some "Error occurred during download" messages

I'm guessing the internet connection wasn't great at the time and the download times out and moves to the next one

Not too worried about this (as this can happen) but the result, is that a couple of days worth of _ticks.bi5 files were missed

Just wondering if there's an easy way to append this missing data into the hst/fxt files.... or does the whole download need to be started again?

The reasons for the errors is likely because you are using an older version of Tickstory. Around late 2018 Dukascopy made a few adjustments to their data servers which required an update to maintain compatibility. We have made changes accordingly in the most recent v1.9 versions. If you would like to update your software, please let us know.

If you continue to use your current version, the answer is yes, it does require that you re-export again since data will be missing throughout the export.
Re-exporting (or downloading first) until you receive no errors would mean that the data is complete.
