The FX ticks appear to skip a day at the end of the year, until the start of the new year
for example, AUDUSD:
20101231 21:59:51:541,1.0223,1.02408,1.64999997615814,1.20000004768372
20110102 22:00:26:747,1.0199,1.0207,1.58000004291534,1.5
(using UTC time)
Is there a way to fill in those missing ticks?
FX Missing Ticks at Year End/Start
Re: FX Missing Ticks at Year End/Start
Hi Johnkd,
The File Export does not back-fill these gaps at the moment, however the MT4 export does. As a workaround you could potentially export to MT4 and that export from there.
Thanks.

Re: FX Missing Ticks at Year End/Start
Ouch, that's a pretty painful workaround.
Is there any schedule for when this bug will be fixed?

Hi Johnkd,
We understand that the feature doesn't suit your requirements, however this does not mean it is a bug.
When exporting to file, the priority is to ensure that data is provided as-is in its raw, unaltered form before applying any simulated/artificial ticks/bars or transformations. From there, users have the ability to make their own transformations to suit their differing requirements (incidentally, some of our users have requested that we remove the MT4 gap fill because it affects their MA calculations).
We would be looking at adding this sort of functionality after our next major release. Unfortunately we can't provide a timeline at this stage for this particular feature. We are, however, in the process of releasing a new major beta which will facilitate these sorts of additions and allowing users to choose what best suits them.
Thanks.
