Re: Historical data for GOLD
Hi there. Can I check if the Mt4 launcher can work with build 1220? I seem to have problem to launch it. Tried to asked this question on other topic but don't seem to get a respond. Any advise is gd pls.
Re: Historical data for GOLD
Hi Keithreport,
Yes, support for Build 1220 was added in v1.9.5.1 (i.e. the launcher for Build 1212 also works for 1220). If you click on your download link you will get the latest version if you don't already have it.
If you continue to have issues, please check out our FAQ which may also assist:

Please let us know if there are any further issues.
Thanks.

Re: Historical data for GOLD
The launcher error is resolved if I keep the MT4 open and click the launcher.
However, when I run the backtest the modelling quality is still at 53%.
Is there any setting I may have missed?

Re: Historical data for GOLD
Hi Keithereport,
Make sure you have "mapped" your symbol to whatever the name of your symbol is called in MT4. For example, if your symbol is called "EURUSDm" in MT4, please ensure you fill in "EURUSDm" in the "Map to" field (without quotes).
The "Map to" field is described further in the manual.
Other potential reasons for not getting 99% modelling quality are listed here:

If you are continuing to have issues, please send us a screenshot of your export settings and the result you are getting in MT4 so we can assist further.
Thanks.

Re: Historical data for GOLD
It worked. Thanks!
Now that I am backtesting all the time. I am wondering can I update my existing *.fxt files instead of replacing it with a new copy every time I download the update from Duke
Regards
Keith

Hi Keith - great to hear!
Incremental updating of databases is something we have on our dev todo list. There's a little bit of "internal plumbing" we're working on at the moment to make this happen.
Thanks.
