The price is not sync between 1minute and Daily

Post by kelvid »

Look at the attach pic for daily and 1 minute, the closing price for daily on dec 15, 2017 of EURUSD is 1.17492 and for 1 minute last bar on dec 15, 2017 is 1.17570. Why there is mismatched between different timeframe?

Hi Kevnid,

We've tried exporting the date range you mention and in both the Daily and 1-minute candles, the close is 1.17492. In your screenshot, it looks like data from the 17th December is missing which should not be the case.

Could you please try re-exporting the date range again to double-check? Please ensure that you are connected to your broker (although it doesn't look like you are) because MT4 can back-fill information.

If you are still having issues, could you please give us the details of how you are performing your export? Ideally, please select the smallest export date range that causes the issue so we can try reproduce the issue on our end.

Thanks.

From the screenshot above, I use GMT shift (UTC + 2 (Europe/London DST) to simulate my broker - IC market (GMT+2).

I have re-export again without GMT shift (look this attached screenshot), EURUSD 1minute chart, the 19:59 the close price is 1.17570. And on 21:59, the close price is 1.17492. When I apply GMT shift(UTC + 2), what I expect is the closing price still is 1.17492 and only the time shift from 19:59 to 21:59. Do let me know how to achieve this. thanks.

Hi Kelvid,

Please check the "Include weekends" option when exporting and this should give you what you want.

Thanks.
