MT4 / Tickstory

I purchased TickStory few days ago.

Here's my setup in attached


When I lunch Mt4 (F8) , it seems MT4 backtest don't start with right Fxt files (i check the folder E:/FXPRO-Metatrader4/tester/history and downloaded FXT are here! )

In fact, when i start backtest, MT4 start to download history files and don't use Tickstory data

Thank you for your screenshots. Of note, it seems that your MT4 symbol is named exactly EURGBP.m. As such, you will need to tell Tickstory to map the symbol EURGBP to your exact symbol name EURGBP.m. To do this, in the Export to MT4->Metatrader Settings information, put the exact symbol name EURGBP.m in the "Map to" field. This will ensure that Tickstory will export EURGBP data as the given MT4 symbol.

If connection goes timeout (due to internet connection) is there any problem ?

Should i restart download from the beginning ? Or it will restart automatically without any problem ?

Hi Apollocreed,

Tickstory will retry the download if it encounters an error. If you continue to get errors during download, it might be worthwhile using the "Download" option first to cleanly download the data before attempting to export.
