Hello,
I don't know what is going wrong, I just get 25% modelling quality with this settings:
- Tickstory 1.8.9.1 (bought today)
- MetaTrader Basic, Version 4.00 Build 1065, 23 Mar 2017
- Export in MT4: 30 Apr 2017 - 02 Jun 2017, EURUSD (same symbol name as it appears in Metatrader)
- Tickstory's File->Settings->MT4->MT4 Data Folder is the same folder location as Metatrader's File->Open Data Folder ------ both: C:\Users\pc\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\52055CD7446FBBA46EE1D618765CC74A
- Launched MT4 via Tickstory's 'Launch' button.
- Backtest from 07 May 2017 - 21 May 2017 delivers 25% modelling quality
I assume the data downloaded by Tickstory isn't used at all by MetaTrader...
Please help, many thanks.
Just 25% modelling quality
Re: Just 25% modelling quality
Hi Chris,
It sounds like you've done the correct checks to get 99% modelling quality, however getting 25% means something is not quite right. Would you have a few screenshots of what you are seeing so we can help trouble-shoot? Screenshots such as:
- All your Strategy Tester tabs after you have completed a back-test (i.e. 'Settings', 'Report' and 'Journal' tabs).
- A screenshot of MT4 File->Open Data Folder and then browse to Tester/History to show all your FXT files.
Thank you - we should have this resolved for you shortly!

Re: Just 25% modelling quality
Thanks for your reply. I tried again, now it works (modelling quality 99,9%). During the first time data download I had a lot of transmission errors, maybe that was the problem.

Hi Chris, good to hear it's solved!
